Keynote Speaker 1
We are proudly announcing our Keynote Speaker 1 for ASEAN University Conference on Public Relations and Communication (APRC 2019), Professor Dr. Kiranjit Kaur.
A brief profile about our Keynote Speaker 1 :

She is a professor in public relations at the Faculty of Communication & Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

She has published a number of journal articles and book chapters in her research interest areas of public relations management, media studies, media ethics, and women and media.

She is a Fellow and an Accredited Public Relations member of the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) with more than 30 years of experience in public relations education. She serves on the IPRM council and chairs the IPRM Education Chapter.

She also sits on the council of the industry-based Communication and Multimedia Content Forum (CMCF); the Networked Media Research Collaboration Programme steering committee of Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission; and she chairs the Media Committee of the National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO), Malaysia.

She graduated with a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Maryland, USA.
Keynote Speaker 2
We are proudly announcing our Keynote Speaker 2 for ASEAN University Conference on Public Relations and Communication (APRC 2019), Professor Dr. Che Su Binti Mustaffa.
Brief profile about our Keynote Speaker 2 :

Che Su holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia/University of Memphis, Msc (Journalism and Mass Communication), Iowa State University, USA and Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. She possesses vast experience with more than 29 years of working experience in the field of communication.

She has served Universiti Utara Malaysia as a tutor in 1988 and become a lecturer in 1990. She was promoted as an Associate Professor in 2000-2010. Currently, she is a Professor of Communication at the College of Arts and Science, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Beside academic responsibilities, she also held several administrative positions as a Chairperson for Graduate Studies, Deputy Dean, Dean, and Chairperson for Communication Programme.

She had provided several training and consultation to a few agencies. She is also an editorial board member of Malaysian Management Journal, International Journal of Knowledge and Change, Malaysia Correctional Journal and Malaysian Journal of Communication and Language. Her scholarly contribution could also be observed in her reviewing manuscripts for the national and international refereed journal and conferences.

Her research area is in organizational communication such as communication satisfaction, communication technology, instrument development, and Malaysian Malay communication style. Besides that, Che Su also conducted a few research regarding organizational communication, communication and disaster management, and social media. Her written works appeared in refereed journal such as Journal Analisis, Journal of Intercultural Communication Research, Intercultural Communication Studies, Corporate Communications: An International Journal, and Human Communication and few others. In addition, she also wrote books related to her field.
